Trim Castle

Welcome to our Inland Counties is a visit to Trim Castle, steeped in history and spectacular architecture. Trim Castle is the largest Norman castle in Ireland standing proudly over the River Boyne. He castle dates back to 12th Century and has played a major role in Irish history throughout the ages.

Causey farm

Causey Farm is a fun based venue for a variety of entertainment, tourism and educational programs. Activities could include ceili dancing, sheepdog demonstrations, Bodhran lessons, brown bread baking, cow milking demonstrations, a blogland’s visit and demonstrations of traditional turf cutting. A fun, entertaining and educational stop on one of the tours of Irelands inland counties.
